Teresa Bastida Perez, CPSS

Teresa was born in Mexico, grew up in Spain, and now lives in St. George, UT. Teresa is a women of faith and has a passion and love for human life. She has dedicated herself to a study of Theology, Metaphysics, and Psychology. Teresa has a Diploma in Religious Sciences from the Faculty of Theology ‘SAN DAMASO’ in Madrid, Spain. Teresa dedicated her youth to fighting loneliness, accompanying and serving children, adults, and seniors. Teresa has a background in nursing where she specialized in Alzheimers and has worked empathically with people with senile dementia, in hospice, and other degenerative diseases.

Teresa currently works with Latino behavioral Health Services as a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) and is grateful to be able to continue her recovery process. Teresa uses her personal experience in overcoming trauma and mental health recovery to support others in similar situations. Teresa has worked with the Latino community and is happy to be able to increase the awareness and importance of mental health in the community.
