Services

Therapy is provided to children 3-17 years old, adults, and couples.

Eligibility

Services available in Spanish at select locations, call for details. Accepts most insurance carriers. Same day payment discounts available: $125 first session and $95 subsequent sessions.

Behavioral Health Innovation and Dissemination Center

Services

Individual therapy for adults and children as well as couples therapy.

Eligibility

Uses a sliding scale model based on your household income and the training level of your clinician. Fees can range from $20 to $140 per session. Treatment begins with a 90-minute intake appointment free of charge.

Buena Vida Therapy

Services

Services in Spanish and English provided by Joanna Onorato, LCSW. Joanna is part time contracted therapist with Multicultural Counseling Center in Moab. She takes clients of all ages, (her clients are most often adolescents and adults) her speciality is trauma-focused modalities, EMDR, TF-CBT and uses and integrative approach. She has also worked with survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse.

Eligibility

Self pay as of right now and uses a sliding scale.

BYU Comprehensive Clinic

Services

The BYU Comprehensive Clinic offers counseling services to individuals in the Utah County area—BYU student or not. Located at Brigham Young University, diagonally across the street from the BYU Creamery on Ninth. This is on the Southeast corner of 900 East and Birch Street in the John Taylor Building (TLRB).

Eligibility

Individual- children and adults, couple, or family counseling costs $15/session. Fees may be decreased for financial need. Please discuss fees with your assigned counselor when you come in. Services available in Spanish. Participation in groups usually costs a one-time fee of $15 per person

Child and Family Empowerment Services

Services

Therapy for children of all ages and adults.

Eligibility

Services available in English and Spanish. Accepts Medicaid and many other carriers. Trauma-focused therapy and child play therapy, EMDR.

Christian Center of Park City

Services

Mental health services for individuals, couples, families, teens and children.

Eligibility

Works with most insurance companies and have scholarships available for those who qualify through our application process. Call the schedulers at 435-649-2260 ext. 1 to learn more about scholarship assistance.

Encircle

Services

Provides Low cost therapy & free queer support groups to LGBTQ people and their families.

Eligibility

Support groups in SLC, Provo, and St george. LGBTQ+ individuals who participate in the Encircle Therapy Assistance Grant program will gain access to life-saving LGBTQ+ specialized therapy that they otherwise would not be able to afford. The program's main objective is to reduce the financial barrier to gain access to therapy for those experiencing poverty.

Four Corners Community Behavioral Health

Services

Services are in English but Spanish interpreters come from the Multicultural Counseling Center in Moab to translate services. Services offered are: Substance Use Treatment Services, Comprehensive Mental Health Services, In-Patient Services, Residential Support Services, Case Management, Peer Support Services, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Med Evaluation.

Accepts Medicaid, clients do have the option of self pay.

HMHI Park City Behavioral Health Clinic (Formerly UNI)

Services

Mental health therapy, Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, & medication management. Serves adults and kids 5 years+.

Eligibility

Bills insurance or self pay with a 30% discount. Services are available in Spanish.

Holy Cross Ministries

Services

Bilingual Individual therapy, Family therapy, Group therapy, Domestic violence support group, Parenting classes for victims of crime and their families.

Inclusive Minded Counseling

Services

Services in Spanish & English provided by Arlyne Arteaga and Martha Lillia. Trauma-Focused, LBGTQ+ Affirming, with a specialty in sexual trauma. Only individual therapy for adults 18+

Eligibility

EMI, PEHP, UHC, Select Health, BCBS, and HMHI-BHN. Accepts Self pay.

Jewish Family Services

Services

Counseling provided to adults, children, and teens. Some availability in Spanish. Can help with: Coping with a difficult marriage, Balance work and family, Improve parenting skills, Enhance family communication, Manage chronic disease issues, Reduce anxiety and depression, Adapt to retirement, Assist in transition/career changes, Live with grief and loss, School-related problems.

Mindful Counseling

Services

Therapy for adults and children 12+.

Eligibility

Self-Pay. Provides therapy in Spanish and telehealth. See website for fees (vary). Daniela Rosado sees clients for anxiety, faith transitions, bipoc issues depression, trauma, eating disorders.

Moab Valley Multicultural Center

Services

Services are in English and Spanish. The Muticultural Counseling Center in Moab provides translators who can help individuals apply for housing and other resources or who otherwise need counseling.

Eligibility

Accepts Medicaid and Self Pay.

Mountain Pediatric Psychology

Services

Sees queer youth and other youth w/complex medical conditons like cancer, asthma, diabetes.

Eligibility

Self pay only. Grants are only available to queer youth in rural areas. Can work with a translater for youth who primarily speak English but have Spanish speaking parents.

Multicultural Counseling Center

Services

Services in Spanish and English, Immigration Evaluations, DUI evaluations, Hardship evaluations, therapy, case management, peer support, and skills counseling for children, adolescents, and adullts. Individual, couples, family, and group setting.

Eligibility

If you do not have insurance we offer a sliding scale fee for therapy services. The cost of therapy ranges from $80 to $185 per session. In order to determine the cost of therapy, we ask that you text a copy of your paystub or the first page of your tax return. In order to apply for this discounted fare please call or text our office number 801-915-0359 and our receptionist will call you back to let you know the rate you qualify for and to schedule an appointment.

Services

Youth therapy up to age 23 and their parents. Available in Spanish. Support groups offered for youth and their families.

Accepts Medicaid only and offers grant applications for low-income families.

Seager Memorial Clinic

Services

Free mental health clinic every 4th Friday of the month. First come first serve. Don’t screen for income, residency or citizenship status.

Eligibility

Just walk in when we open at 3 PM, put your name on the list, and wait to be seen. Mental health clinics for uninsured and underinsured patients. We also help all of our patients get their prescription and over-the-counter medications at no cost. Translators available.

South Valley Services

Services

Free clinical therapy for children, adult male and female survivors of sexual assault or domestic violence.

Eligibility

Services may be provided in Spanish. Legal status not a barrier in receiving care.

The Childrens Center

Services

Children 0-6 and family therapy, medication mgmt, and trauma treatment on a sliding scale. Spanish speakers available, legal status not a barrier in receiving care. Does not provide: Custody Evaluations Custody recommendations Forensic evaluations or interviews Mediation Services Supervised Visitation

Eligibility

The Children's Center is a private, not-for-profit agency. We are able to provide affordable services because we use charitable funds to subsidize families who are unable to pay our full fee. We will refer you to our business office to establish the fee for your family's therapy. Health insurance policies, including Medicaid, will usually provide some coverage for mental health treatment.

Valley Behavioral

Wasatch Behavioral Health

Services

Therapy, medication management, and supportive counseling for children, families, and adults.

Eligibility

Primarily serves Utah county Medicaid residents. For those without Medicaid, Wasatch Behavioral Health receives funds from grants and other contracts to pay for some specific services. These funds vary from year to year but generally include crisis and stabilization services, domestic violence treatment, school based services, youth crisis services. Call to find out more about availability of services for those without insurance.
