Youth Therapy

Youth Therapy

LBHS offers professional, low-cost therapy in Spanish and English.

Our Latino Behavioral Health Services Youth Therapy Program is specifically designed to cater to the Latinx youth, ages 12 to 24. We recognize that this age group often experiences unique challenges and needs in their journey towards mental well-being. Our program is tailored to provide age-appropriate, culturally and linguistically responsive therapy and support, ensuring that young Latinx have access to the resources they require during these crucial developmental years. We do our best to include parents and families in this journey. Our dedicated team of therapists is committed to fostering a safe and nurturing environment where youth can explore their emotions, receive support, and develop lifelong skills.

Professional therapy helps many clients with grief from separation or loss, parents divorcing, relationship problems, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, and other problems.

Therapy Cost

At LBHS, we believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health services, regardless of their financial circumstances. That’s why we offer a flexible sliding scale fee structure for therapy. This means that the cost of therapy is based on individual, parent, or guardian’s income. LBHS also takes into consideration familial extenuating circumstances to ensure that our services remain affordable for all. In addition to our sliding scale fees, we provide scholarship opportunities for those who may require further financial assistance. Scholarships are available, and individuals, parents, or guardians are encouraged to apply for these programs to help cover the cost of therapy sessions. New clients will be sent the sliding scale/scholarship application in preparation for their intake appointment.

We are proud to accept Medicaid as a means of payment for our services. This commitment to accessibility ensures that individuals who qualify for Medicaid can access our therapy programs without any financial barriers. Our mission is to make mental health support as accessible as possible, and we are dedicated to working with our clients to find the best payment options for their needs.
