Nicole Balbuena (she/them) is originally from the United States and is half Mexican and half Dominican. Nicole works at Latino Behavioral Health Services as the youth program facilitator. Nicole has been working with minority communities for over 2 years and has developed various programs such as professional mentoring for refugee women, GED/ESL classes, classes on how to protect yourself at work, etc. Nicole likes to climb, read, and be in nature. Nicole’s goal is to uplift and empower underserved communities and reduce the stigma around mental health.
