UNIDEX creates a community to address the intersection between the queer and Latinx/e community.

We envision a world in which queer Latinx people are healthy, whole, and deeply connected to themselves, their culture, and their community.

It is extremely important for LGBTQ+ individuals to prioritize their mental health, as they often face unique challenges and experiences that can impact their well-being. Discrimination, stigma, and social isolation can all contribute to increased rates of anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns in this community. Seeking support from mental health professionals, building a strong support system, and practicing self-care can all help LGBTQ+ individuals maintain good mental health and lead fulfilling lives. Taking care of one’s mental health is essential for overall wellness and should be a priority for everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

Are you Latino, Latina, or Latinx? Do you identify as Queer or LGBTQ+? Join us for our weekly online socials on Zoom! This group is dedicated to building an inclusive community of LGBTQ+ Latinx youth by promoting culture, diversity, and mental and emotional health. All are welcome!

Every Tuesday from 6 pm – 7 pm.
