Tony is a peer mentor with formal training and education in the fields of Political Science, Public Administration, Educational Leadership and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Tony’s experience has allowed him to serve adolescents, adults, parents, senior citizens, and members of the LGBTQ+ community with self-acceptance, life transitions, healthy aging, conflict management, learning and development, goal setting, substance abuse and understanding how to make meaning of life experiences. Prior to joining the Latino Behavioral Health Services team Tony was helping others in educational settings, residential treatment facilities, mental health clinics and through community outreach efforts. Tony is a native Spanish speaker who has been in Utah for 13 years and looks forward to meeting you.
