Public Presentations and Suicide Prevention Training

LBHS offers the following free and low cost Public Presentations and Suicide Prevention Training in Spanish and English.

  • LBHS offers presentations about mental/emotional conditions and substance use disorders, what it is like to live a mental/emotional condition or substance use disorder and the experience of family members of those with a mental/emotional condition or substance use disorder.
  • LBHS offers presentations about resources for Latinos with mental or emotional conditions or substance use disorders and their family members.
  • LBHS offers “Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR)” training. The QPR mission is to reduce suicidal behaviors and save lives by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training.
  • LBHS offers “Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)” training. Mental Health First Aid teaches participants how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders in their community.
